Silly Monkey!

I didn't get to stamp AGAIN today!!! Arghhh! I really have to get back into a groove with my stamping. Every other day just is not cutting it for my creativity.

Today I'm posting a card I did this summer. I'm totally in love with this little Changito stamp. He's so cute and silly! I love him! Anyways, I did this card for an Inspiration Challenge on SCS this past summer and have just now gotten around to posting him. Even though the weather is changing here (50 degrees today! Brrr!), I can still dream of warm weather and swimming pools, right??? I'll really be dreaming when the weather REALLY gets cold and we have one of our good ol' Cleveland winters!

Ink: Black, Taken with Teal
Paper: Tempting Turquiose, So Saffron, Taken with Teal, White
Accessories: 1/4 inch Apricot grosgrain ribbon, flower brads, Nestabilities, SU markers

I just love this silly little monkey!



Here's another card that I did with the same Changito stamp. Too cute! I think I made this card for a Featured Stamper challenge this past summer too! I really like this one because it's a round, gatefold card. It was fun to make!


RECIPE:
Stamps: Changito (Stampendous)
Ink: Black (Palette)
Paper: White, Blue Bayou, Basic Gray Cupcake dp
Accessories: Scalloped and Classic Circle Nestabilities, star buttons, dimentionals, Copic Markers, Crystal Effects (on his goggles)

This card opens like a gatefold and is actually quite a small card. I used my largest circle Nestabilities to cut the card base. It took many runs through the cuttlebug, and I had to use my scissors a little on the folds, but it actually cut through pretty well. I used heavy PTI white cardstock too!
